my biggest spell I ever cast was a flop
Hi friend!
Today I want to tell you about the biggest spell I ever cast that DIDN'T work. It was a weather spell for a sunny day during an important event that just so happened to be my wedding. The weather was shaping up badly and I desperately cast 5 different spells, made offerings to deities, and told my entire family to manifest a sunny day. I've been seriously practicing magic for years, so I was pretty confident that it would work. Instead, it poured the entire day and I ended up covered in mud. Yikes!
So WHY didn't the spells work? There are a few reasons:
1) I felt WAY too desperate when I cast the spells. Instead of commanding energy to flow in a certain way, I desperately tried to grab onto it and watched it slip through my fingers. Magic doesn't like desperation; it's the opposite of the confident, clear energy that makes spells successful.
2) Unfortunately, I couldn't just "get rid" of this desperation because I had so many unconscious scripts playing out concerning the wedding. I needed to do some serious shadow work first. I had all these unconscious fears about the day going badly, and you know what the unconscious mind can do during a spell? Work AGAINST your conscious mind. The unconscious mind sees these fears as reality and actually manifests them, while you're trying to consciously manifest the opposite outcome. That's why it's SO important to clear your unconscious beliefs about a topic before you can successfully cast a spell. I recommend doing serious shadow work before spellcasting, whatever that means to you. It may come in the form of journaling, meditating, talking to deities, dream work, etc.
Now I know that almost EVERY spell I cast works as long as my shadow is integrated beforehand, especially in that specific area. I'll link some of my favorite resources for unconscious work below, but you can also just plain down and do it yourself.
